Players of DR Congo top tier championship side Blessing FC are considering a strike action as part of efforts to push management to pay their salaries and other bonuses accrued in the past three months, kick442.com has gathered from FootRDC.com.<\/p>\n

According to the reputable outlet the last two months have been far from a blessing for players committed to the club for the 2022\/23 as a majority if not all of them have not received the agreed financial returns for their services despite their outstanding performances in the domestic championship.<\/p>\n

Per the source, the club’s management hasn’t briefed the players about the precarious cash situation, thus creating distrust and promoting the idea of a strike action.<\/p>\n

The club has accumulated 11 points so far in the championship and occupy the 7th spot after seven matches.<\/p>\n

The case of Blessing FC is not first. Over the years, players have experienced a similar situation at other ‘smaller’ clubs in the oil-rich country.<\/p>\n

The onus is on the management of Blessing FC to address the situation as soon as possible to prevent it from degenerating into an unpleasant event.<\/p>\n
