Teams across the board seized the additional week as an opportunity to meticulously fine-tune their strategies and skill sets.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The air was thick with competition as top flight teams retreated to exclusive camps for focused training sessions, leaving academies, along with regional teams, to rise to the occasion as worthy adversaries.<\/p>\n<p>In Douala, Colombe Sportive of the South delivered a commanding performance, defeating Dauphine Football Academy with a resounding 5-0 victory at Tercocam Stadium in Bonamoussadi.<\/p>\n<p>Originally scheduled to face the Brazilians, the South Doves had to adjust their plans and faced the football academy instead, due to their intended opponents being embroiled in a crisis.<\/p>\n<p>The match, played on a pitch bustling with fans, saw Colombe secure a solid lead with two goals in the first half and added three more after the break.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Richard Towa praised the win as a significant achievement for the playoff hopefuls, despite the seemingly effortless victory.<\/p>\n<p>On the same day, reigning champions Cotonsport suffered a 1-2 defeat to Caiman Club in a match shrouded in secrecy at Bonamoussadi Stadium. The team&#8217;s focused preparation, isolated from distractions for over a week, paid dividends.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Victoria United and Fako United battled to a 1-1 draw at Middle Farms Stadium in Limbe. The fate of this newly promoted team hangs in the balance, oscillating between playoff promotion and relegation, pending the Court of Arbitration&#8217;s decision.<\/p>\n<p>In a compelling encounter in Bamenda, Elite One team PWD of Bamenda dominated Elite Two&#8217;s Bafmeng United with a decisive 4-0 victory.<\/p>\n<p>The match showcased the Abakwa Boys&#8217; prowess as they prepare for their respective playoff challenges. Bafmeng United, with aspirations of ascending to the first division, will enter the playoffs with promotion in sight.
