Morocco will host the Total Energies CAF Futsal AFCON championship for the second time in a row.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday, the official draw for the CAF Futsal AFCON group stages was conducted at Mohamed VI Football Complex in Rabat, Morocco.<\/p>\n

The North African giants are pooled in group A alongside 2020 third best finishers Angola, Ghana and returnees Zambia.<\/p>\n

Since its inception in 1996, only three countries have reached glory namely Egypt, Libya and the Atlas Lions.<\/p>\n

More history beckons for Morocco who eye a third consecutive success, a record previously held by all time winners Egypt.<\/p>\n

First claimed triumph in South Africa 2016, victory for Morocco at this year’s finals will see them match Egypt who won it on two several occasions as hosts ( 1996, 2000).<\/p>\n

Close favorites Libya, Egypt are in group B together with new comers Namibia, and Mauritania.<\/p>\n

Scheduled to take place from 11th-21st April, the tournament Will see the top three teams secure automatic qualification at this year’s FIFA Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan.\"\"<\/p>\n
