Desire Djokam has resigned from his role as head coach of Cameroon women’s top-flight championship side AS Awa with immediate effect.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tactician took to social media on Friday, February 9 to announce the move barely hours after informing the club’s management of his departure less than six months after joining the capital city club.<\/p>\n

Djokam who previously managed Caiman Filles of Douala had arrived before the start of the current season to replace Hassan Ibrahim Balla who switched to Authentic Ladies FC after four years and two domestic championship wins.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for the young tactician, massively players exodus due to a relatively lower budget constraint didn’t enable the kind of success his predecessor achieved.<\/p>\n

During his eleven matches at the helm of the club, coach Djokam won three and suffered defeat in seven while the other ended in a draw, thus leaving the club on the seventh spot.<\/p>\n
