{"id":14241,"date":"2024-01-05T10:20:49","date_gmt":"2024-01-05T10:20:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=14241"},"modified":"2024-01-05T10:20:49","modified_gmt":"2024-01-05T10:20:49","slug":"zambia-chipata-united-suspends-owner-coach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/zambia-chipata-united-suspends-owner-coach\/","title":{"rendered":"Zambia: Chipata United suspends owner, coach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The head coach of Zambia National League club, Chipata United Esau Chalo Zulu has been suspended by the management board of the team.<\/p>\n<p>The head coach who also doubles as the owner of the club was suspended recently for insurbordination<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement signed by the general secretary Aaron Mwale, Esau Zulu was not cooperating with the executive committee of the club which he wanted its chairman to dissolve.<\/p>\n<p>The club also accused coach Esau Zulu of leaking information to the media without permission and going beyond his limit to discuss confidential issues in public, leading to misinformation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChipata United management have finally suspended their head coach Esau Chalo Zulu until further notice,\u201d Mwale said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The executive committee has given Zulu seven days to show proof of him being innocent.<\/p>\n<p>Mwale confirmed that Technical Director Kennedy Banda will lead the team in the absence of Zulu.<\/p>\n<p>Chipata United are in the relegation zone on the National Division One league table where they are 16th on the 18-team league with 16 points.
