{"id":13414,"date":"2023-12-01T03:38:38","date_gmt":"2023-12-01T03:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=13414"},"modified":"2023-12-01T03:38:42","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T03:38:42","slug":"coton-partakes-in-birth-of-aca-in-cairo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/coton-partakes-in-birth-of-aca-in-cairo\/","title":{"rendered":"Coton partakes in birth of ACA in Cairo"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><em>The Record Cameroon champions are one of over 40 clubs that was invited to Cairo for the historic event<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Tanzanian businessman and president of Young Africans SC, Hirsi Said has been voted President of the ACA hours upon creation<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Nairobi has been made the headquarters of the institution\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cotonsport officials led by its president Fernand Sadou, joined their peers on Thursday, November 30 in Cairo as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) launched the African Club Association (ACA).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Dr Patrice Motsepe-driven institution was put in place in the hitch free event and its immediate officials tasks to protect and promote the interest of African Football Clubs, ensure that they are commercially viable, globally competitive and profitable, to build partnerships with sponsors, the private sector and Governments to build stadiums that comply with CAF and FIFA standards and other football infrastructure and facilities in each of the 54 CAF Member Associations among others.<\/p>\n<p>Nairobi, Kenya has chosen as the headquarters of the institution that will also target maximum respect and credibility for Referees, Match Commissioners and VAR operators among others.<\/p>\n<p>The General Assembly of ACA co-opted Yanga SC&#8217;s Hirsi Said as its pioneer president while Jessica Matoung from South Africa&#8217;s Kaizer Chiefs picked up the first vice position, and Akwa United of Nigeria&#8217;s Paul Bassey was made second second vice president.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13415\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13415\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-13415\" src=\"https:\/\/kick442.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/20231201_041815-300x223.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kick442.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/20231201_041815-300x223.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kick442.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/20231201_041815.jpg 680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-13415\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Yanga SC&#8217;s president Said picked up the post of pioneer ACA president<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A 15-board was also elected at the gathering.
