{"id":13107,"date":"2023-11-21T05:29:01","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T05:29:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=13107"},"modified":"2023-11-21T05:29:01","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T05:29:01","slug":"cameroon-racing-players-skip-training-in-protest-over-signing-and-match-bonuses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/cameroon-racing-players-skip-training-in-protest-over-signing-and-match-bonuses\/","title":{"rendered":"Cameroon: Racing Players Skip Training in protest Over Signing and Match Bonuses"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Racing of Bafoussam&#8217;s players are reported to have unanimously boycotted Mondays training session due to delayed payment of signing and match bonuses .<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>The team who had previously called on its elites for financial support to participate in the elite two championship is going through a rough financial patch<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>This financial difficulties has rubbed off on the team&#8217;s performance in the last two playing days of the championship<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Racing of Bafoussam&#8217;s players have staged a training boycott on Monday to protest against the delay in the payment of their signing and match bonuses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The players, who were present at the Bafoussam stadium on Monday, refused to train requesting the club management to meet up with it&#8217;s engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Vitrine sportive, an online sports portal reports, coach Benjamin Mongo&#8217;s team has only received 40,000 FCFA since the start of the championship with nothing more, but failed promises of completion.<\/p>\n<p>Club management has been given 24hrs to respond to the demands of it&#8217;s employees or an even drastic action will be taken .<\/p>\n<p>Racing has not been financially buoyant this season. The west regional outfit had announced it&#8217;s precarious financial situation before the start of the elite two season threatening to pull out if help is not given.<\/p>\n<p>The club, which has a rich history and a loyal fan base, had appealed to its elites and sponsors for financial support to overcome its difficulties and participate in the championship.<\/p>\n<p>However, the response has been slow and insufficient, leaving the players and the staff in a difficult situation.<\/p>\n<p>The financial crisis facing the club has also affected its performance in the Elite Two championship, where it is currently ranked fifth.The team has suffered two consecutive defeats for the first time this season, losing to Aigle of Mongo and Bafmeng United in day five and six of the elite two championship.<\/p>\n<p>They are programmed to host Foncha street in Bandjoun come Saturday for the match counting for day seven .<\/p>\n<p>The question on whether they honor this program will depend on management&#8217;s response to their request.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright\u00a92023 kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
