Cameroon Elite 2 newbies Aigle Royal of Moungo picked up their second victory in the 2022\/23 championship this Monday at the Bonamoussadi Stadium.<\/p>\n
Midfielder Tengoh Samuel and forward Ngandjui Noel scored in either half respectively as coach Patrice Fotso’s team made work difficult for the struggling TKC who arrived Douala hoping helplessly to end their run of with poor results.<\/p>\n
TKC started the game in a much improved manner and showed signs of a team willing to dare, unfortunately it was just a matter of time before they ran out of tactics.<\/p>\n
Aigle Royal did absorbed the pressure from the visitors and focused more to pick their points through quick counter attacks.<\/p>\n
With Christian Tchawa, fans and the rest of the substitutes cheering on the starters which provoked most of the chances for their team<\/p>\n
Tengoh Samuel finally made the breakthrough for the host 33 minutes into the contest, heading the first half with a well-weighted ball in-behind the TKC defence.<\/p>\n
At 1-0, Aigle were cruising and TKC needed something special to stop them. When the referee urged both teams for the 15 minutes break and Aigle fans were waiting for more of the “spectacle “in the next half.<\/p>\n
Ngandjui made it 2-0 in the 67th minute a mountain difficult to climb for TKC whose story of the season so far has not been any different.<\/p>\n
Aigle dominated and created opportunities. Though good goalkeeping but poor finishing prevented TKC off the hook on three occasions.<\/p>\n
The game ended on the 2-0 score, which gave Aigle another three points and takes their tally for the season to eight points ahead of their next outing away to Rangers of Bafut.<\/p>\n
Aigle will travel to Bamenda as the fourth ranked team to confront the host ranked seventh-placed, Rangers, who are winless in two games since resumption on.<\/p>\n
