{"id":12399,"date":"2023-10-26T18:33:50","date_gmt":"2023-10-26T18:33:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=12399"},"modified":"2023-10-26T18:33:50","modified_gmt":"2023-10-26T18:33:50","slug":"breaking-onana-tells-english-fa-to-discontinue-gernacho-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/breaking-onana-tells-english-fa-to-discontinue-gernacho-investigation\/","title":{"rendered":"Breaking: Onana tells English FA to discontinue Gernacho investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em><strong>The English FA is probing into Alejandro Gernacho post after Manchester United&#8217;s 1-0 win against Copenhagen<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>His club Andre Onana has told the English FA to stop the investigation immediately<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>The Cameroonian goalkeeper says he understood the outing of his mate on X<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cameroon and Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana has asked the English FA to immediately end investigations against his Argentine colleague Gernacho after the latter posted Gorilla emojis of his team mate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The FA have been investigating Garnacho\u2019s social media post in which he used gorilla emojis over a picture of Andr\u00e9 Onana&#8217;s penalty save in their UEFA Champions League game against Copenhagen last Tuesday to earn a first win in the competition this season.<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the issue which has sparked social media for over 48 hours, Onana said: \u201cPeople can\u2019t choose what I should be offended by. I know that Garnacho meant power and strenght. This matter should go no further\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Garnacho was one of several United players that celebrated Onana\u2019s heroics on social media, however, the 19-year-old deleted his post on Twitter after receiving a strange backlash.<\/p>\n<p>Though he has deleted the post, Garnacho now faces a charge from the Football Association as the post is likely to be deemed an \u2018aggravated breach\u2019 of its rules on social media behaviour.<\/p>\n<p>The social media is under strict scrutiny these days. Last month, Napoli ran into trouble with their Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen after a Tiktok video posted by the club&#8217;s social media team appeared to mock the legend.<\/p>\n<p>However, United is unfazed by Garnacho situation and have declined offers to comment on the post or reactions about it.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright\u00a92023 kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
