{"id":1211,"date":"2022-12-25T15:51:50","date_gmt":"2022-12-25T15:51:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=1211"},"modified":"2022-12-25T15:51:50","modified_gmt":"2022-12-25T15:51:50","slug":"copper-queens-trio-sign-christmas-day-deal-with-biik-shymkent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/copper-queens-trio-sign-christmas-day-deal-with-biik-shymkent\/","title":{"rendered":"Copper Queens trio sign Christmas day deal with BIIK Shymkent"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<p>Three Green Buffaloes Women&#8217;s Football Club and Zambian players have signed two-year deals with Kazakhstan champions BIIK Shymkent.<\/p>\n<p>Defender Martha Tembo, midfielder Ireen Lungu, and striker Hellen Chanda will now be based in Shymkent until October 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The deal is subject to renewal and the players will compete in the Kazakhstani championship.<\/p>\n<p>The trio&#8217;s move to the 16-time champions brings the number of Copper Queens players abroad to 12.<\/p>\n<p>Others are Hellen Mubanga, Barbara Banda, Misozi Zulu, Hazel Nali, Natasha Witika, Margaret Belemu, Rachael Kundananji, Rachael Nachula, and Grace Chanda.<\/p>\n<p>BIIK Shymkent has proved to be a pathway for many Copper Queens players in recent years, with Kundananji, Prisca Chilufya, and Chanda all passing through their system.<\/p>\n<p>Green Buffaloes dethroned Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies to win the 2022 COSAFA (Southern Africa) Zonal Qualifiers for the CAF Women&#8217;s Champions League.<\/p>\n<p>The team crashed out at the group stage of the 2022 CAF Women&#8217;s Champions League in a group comprising ASFAR FC of Morocco, Determine Girls of Liberia, and Simba Queens of Tanzania.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright 2022\u00a9kick442.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
