{"id":11831,"date":"2023-10-10T16:55:55","date_gmt":"2023-10-10T16:55:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=11831"},"modified":"2023-10-10T16:55:55","modified_gmt":"2023-10-10T16:55:55","slug":"mtn-elite-2-kick-off-postponed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/mtn-elite-2-kick-off-postponed\/","title":{"rendered":"MTN Elite 2 kick-off postponed"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em><strong>ISOHSA will compete in Elite 2 Pool A alongside Bafmeng and Foncha Street<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>The top three clubs from each Pool will qualify for the promotion playoffs<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>The bottom four and five clubs in pool A and B will enter the relegation playoffs<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Three clubs will be relegated at the end of it all while the top two clubs graduate to Elite 1\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The opening games of the 2023\/24 MTN Elite 2 championship will no longer be played on Wednesday, October 11 as initially announced<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>kick442.com has gathered that officials of the Cameroon transitional technical committee (CTFP) have elected to postpone the kick-off to a new date to be determined following administrative and logistics challenges faced by the 15 clubs concerned.<\/p>\n<p>The Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) conducted the pairings of the 15-club concerned last week and it was announced YAFOOT and Rangers FC will open the championship on the October 11 scheduled date while Dragon Yaounde host Foncha Street of Bamenda on the same day, but that seems far-fetched now.<\/p>\n<p>The 2023\/24 MTN Elite 2 championship pairings done last Friday at the headquarters of the Cameroon football federation produced some interesting pairings as newcomers ISOHSA and Bafmeng United FC find themselves in Pool A alongside Dragon, Eding Sport, FAP, Leopard among others in a Pool A of three Anglo-Saxon clubs.<\/p>\n<p>Pool B consists of Rangers of Bafut, Aigle Royal of Moungo, Racing plus Renaissance FC and YAFOOT FC that have just returned from the top-flight championship.<\/p>\n<p>The 15-club championship has been made to have eight teams in Pool A and seven in Pool B.<\/p>\n<p>The top three clubs from each Pool will qualify for the promotion playoffs, while the bottom five sides in Pool A and four in Pool B will compete in the relegation playoffs to determine the three clubs to be relegated at the end of the season.<\/p>\n<p>The top two clubs to ascend from the second-tier championship will join the other clubs in the 16-club Elite One championship during the 2024\/25 season.<\/p>\n<p>Full Pairings:<\/p>\n<p>Pool A<br \/>\nA8- AS FAP<br \/>\nA3- Dragon<br \/>\nA6- Eding Sport<br \/>\nA5- Leopard Sportif<br \/>\nA4- Foncha Street FC<br \/>\nA2- Bafmeng United<br \/>\nA7-Unisport du Haut Nkam<br \/>\nA1- ISOHSA of Limbe<\/p>\n<p>Pool B<br \/>\nB4- TKC<br \/>\nB6- Renaissance<br \/>\nB1- YAFOOT<br \/>\nB7- Aigle Royal Menoua<br \/>\nB2- Rangers FC of Bafut<br \/>\nB3- Racing of Bafoussam<br \/>\nB5- Djiko FC<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright\u00a92023 kick442.com-Cameroon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
