{"id":11402,"date":"2023-09-30T20:20:47","date_gmt":"2023-09-30T20:20:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=11402"},"modified":"2023-09-30T20:20:47","modified_gmt":"2023-09-30T20:20:47","slug":"abidemi-abiolu-former-oasis-ladies-coach-backs-dajumas-re-appointment-as-falconets-coach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/abidemi-abiolu-former-oasis-ladies-coach-backs-dajumas-re-appointment-as-falconets-coach\/","title":{"rendered":"Abidemi Abiolu: Former Oasis Ladies coach backs Dajuma&#8217;s re-appointment as Falconets coach"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<p>The former coach of defunct Oasis Ladies, Abidemi Abiolu viewed the re-appointment of Nasarawa Amazons coach, Christopher Danjuma to continue as the coach of the Nigeria U-20 women&#8217;s national team as a welcome development.<\/p>\n<p>He was returned to his job as Head Coach of Falconets, following a screening and interview process by the NFF Technical Committee.<\/p>\n<p>The committee submitted its recommendation and the same has been approved by the NFF Executive Committee.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The appointment of Christopher Danjuma as the U-20 Women&#8217;s national team coach is a good development,&#8221; Abiolu told <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">www.kick442.com<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Danjuma, who has taken temporary charge of the Senior Women National Team, Super Falcons, on a couple of occasions, led the Falconets to the quarter-finals of last year\u2019s FIFA U20 Women\u2019s World Cup finals in Costa Rica.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-11404 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/kick442.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Screenshot_20230930-211736-216x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kick442.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Screenshot_20230930-211736-216x300.jpg 216w, https:\/\/kick442.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Screenshot_20230930-211736.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 216px) 100vw, 216px\" \/>coach Abidemi Abiolu<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For me, he has been there for a while and he knows the girls.&#8221; He added.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Giving him a chance to lead the team is a welcome development as we can see about three of our players from the U-20 played at the last FIFA Women&#8217;s World Cup in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I believe he [Christopher Danjuma] is a coach that can look for talents and nurture players to make them what they want to be.&#8221; He concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Danjuma also guided the team to a second-place finish at the West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) U-20 Women&#8217;s Cup and will hope to lead the team to the next FIFA U-20 Women&#8217;s World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright 2023\u00a9kick442.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
