Vincent Aboubakar’s audacious chip against Serbia in Cameroon’s second group game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup has been shortlisted for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Hyundai goal of the tournament.<\/p>\n

Aboubakar,30, scorer of all sorts of goals is the only African on the list and a win for the striker in the twilight of his career will inspire other young footballers.<\/p>\n

Lovers of football across the world have been given the opportunity to vote their best goal of the tournament. The process is currently and will lalst till Thursday, after which FIFA will collect, compile and publish the results.<\/p>\n

Aboubakar is Africa’s best scorer in International football for this calendar year. The Al Nassr striker scored eight earlier this year in the AFCON, thus taking his tally for the year to ten.<\/p>\n

A win for Aboubakar will add to the man of the match award he won on the day he scored and assisted against Serbia.<\/p>\n
