Piment FC of Bayangam will clash with Sable of Batie in the final of the West Regional League mini interpools this Wednesday July 17, 2025 in Bafoussam.
After the controversial decision of the homologation and discipline committee of the West Regional League elimination Riziere of Noun and Royal of Nka’a due to crowd trouble in their quarter final match, three teams were left in the competition.
During the draws, Piment of Bayangam was drawn to play against AS Menoua while Sable of Batie automatically qualified for the final.
Piment of Bayangam came from a goal down to defeat AS Menoua 2#1 with two second half goals from Stephane Bel Gwet and Leo Van Pehuie. Ange Dande had opened scores for AS Menoua.
The final to be played between Sable of Batie and Piment of Bayangam shall take place on Wednesday July 17, 2025 in Bafoussam with the winner to represent the West region in the national interpools.
West Region outfits have been relatively poor in the national interpools, with their last qualification being that of Djiko FC of Bandjoun 13 years ago.
