Uganda National team defender Lukiya Namubiru has recounted about the prestigious moment after her Nation’s appearance at the WAFCON finals in Morocco.
The Kampala Queens defender in an exclusive interview with kick442.com correspondent expressed how it was a dream come true to play at the continental showpiece.
Making a debut , she was introduced in as a second half substitute in Uganda’s last group game against Burkina Faso.

She hopes to build onto that experience when Kampala Queens play the CAF Women’s Champions league at the CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers.
From formerly playing at the front , Lukiya has established her self as a top player in that position via the FUFA Women Super League.
Lukiya was part of the Uganda team that won their maiden CECAFA Women Championship last year in June.
