Manchester United are set to continue their romance with Andre Onana Onana despite a difficult first season for the shot-stopper, who’s heralded as the best player for his club this season.
Sources say the club will make shake ups in its squad in the summer but captain Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot and Onana have been earmarked ad the untouchables.

“Manchester United doesn’t have intentions to sell Onana, Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot this summer,” the source stated.
Onana had endured a mixed debut campaign, much like his club as United have won less than half of their Premier League games and currently sit sixth in the table, 13 points off the Champions League places with only four games of the season to go.
Though the former Inter Milan star has pulled off some remarkable saves and often shown his quality in possession but he’s also been culpable of some horrific errors, none more so than in the last outings and against Sheffield United and Burnley.
He hasn’t kept a clean sheet since a 2-0 victory over Everton on March 9 and will be hoping to change that in remaining Premier League fixtures against Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Newcastle and Brighton plus the FA Cup final against eternal rivals Manchester City.
However, Manchester United have opted to pick the positives and build on it going into next season.
In the meantime, Onana is set to return to action for United on Monday evening when they head to in-form Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The La Masia graduate is hoping to finish the season well to serve as a springboard into his second campaign in 2024-25, where he will benefit from a full pre-season.
