Chadian Women’s top-flight Champions, Tout Puissant Elect sport of Ndjamena will travel to Malabo on Tuesday to compete in the playoffs to determine the club that will bear the bag of the Union of Central African Football Federation, alongside TP Mazembe.
Sources in Ndjamena have told our editorial crew that the team’s completed preparations in their country’s capital and players are ready for departure scheduled on Tuesday.
Since securing their place in the competition, coach Noumassei Betrand’s team has added fresh blood and worked tirelessly to be ready for this competition.
Elecsport will be one of the five clubs to battle for honours in the two weeks competition to be played in a group format in Malabo.
TP Elect-Sport will compete with debutants Football Academie de M’Sichana of DRC, FC Ebolowa of Cameroon Club 15 de Agosto de Akonibe of hosts Equatorial Guinea and Congo’s Amical Club of Colombe.
Elect Sporf’s rival, FC Ebolowa arrived Malabo this Monday morning and moved to their UNIFFAC provided base.
The draw of the tournament will be made today in Malabo while the competition gets underway on September 17 to last for two weeks.
Though the Electricians of Ndjamena as they are nicknamed are new to the competition, they will arrive with the desired character to leave a lasting impression.
The champions of UNIFFAC will join TP Mazembe in the finals whose details have not been made public. The Congolese giants secured a spot to this year’s finals per their status as last season’s continental champions.
