UNIFFAC U20 Fatshi Cup: Organizers publish revised calendar

The organizing committee of the 2023 UNIFFAC U20 Fatshi Cup tournament has issued a new calendar redefining the shape of the competition following the withdrawal of Cameroon and Chad.

The new fixtures made for the four remaining nations has pooled all of them in a single group as opposed to the previous option.

Per the revised calendar, Central African nations published this Thursday, June 29 sees Hosts DR Congo will challenge Gabon in their opening group game while Central Africa Republic grind ashes with Congo in the second game. Both on Saturday July 1.

In the second group games, DR Congo faces Central Africa Republic while Gabon will challenge Congo in the opening match day on July 4.

Gabon will conclude their tournament against Central Africa Republic on July 7 while a derby of the two Congos.

The nation with the highest amount of points at the end of the three group games will be crowned champions of the tournament.

The six games of the tournament will be played at the Stade de Martyrs in Kinshasa from July 1 -7, 2023.
