Uganda Cranes kick off CHAN preparations

The Uganda National side ,have on Thursday kicked off preparations for the CHAN championship with two training sessions ,one in the morning and another in the evening at Lugogo and Acorns international School respectively.

The players turned up ,after a 35 man squad was named earlier this week by head coach Micho ,with the local league first round coming to an end after match day fifteen on Wednesday evening and forward Nelson Senkatuka becoming the latest addition after not being named at first .

The national side will be in the country till 31st December ,before they depart to Tunisia for a pre-CHAN tournament where they will play friendlies.

Uganda are pitted in group B alongside DRC ,Ivory Coast and Senegal ,they kick off the campaign against DRC on 14th January in Annaba ,Algeria.
