FNB Women’s Championship winners, Tura Magic of Namibia ended its season campaign with a whooping 18-1 win over Rightway on Saturday.
It had earlier been confirmed as league champions ahead of the last game of the season and ended it in an emphatic fashion.
Tura end the season 71pts with in 26 games with 1 defeat .
Tura Magic attention moves to the COSAFA (Southern Africa) Champions league in August.
The club participated at the maiden COSAFA Zonal Qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League in 2021.
In 2021, it finished bottom of Group B without a point failing to move past the group behind Black Rhino Queens and Green Buffaloes of Zambia.
It will hop to improve on its previous performance at the zonal level but will have to fight it out with the past two champions, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa and Green Buffaloes.
Meanwhile, the list of women’s league champions in Africa is now up to 27 including Tura Magic and Delta Queens.
Delta Queens dethroned Bayelsa Queens 2-1 in the final of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
