- Titanic FC Samar are champions of the Littoral region
- They beat International FC 2–1 in the Littoral final to reach the 2025 national interpools
- Allan Ngankam, 15, won the golden boot with 15 goals as Galactique FA took the Fair Play Award
It was a final worthy of the occasion at the Terkocam Stadium on Sunday, August 10, as Titanic FC Samar came from behind to sink International FC 2–1 in the Littoral mini-interpool final and book their ticket to the 2025 national interpools.
International FC struck first in the opening half, punishing a defensive lapse to take the lead. But after the restart, Titanic roared back into the contest, with goals from Nyetam Bryan and Foudjieng Raphael turning the tide and sealing the victory.
The Littoral champions are now the fourth team to secure a spot at the national interpools, joining Kumba City FC of the South West, Epervier Sportif from the South, and Sable de Batié from the West. All ten regional representatives will be confirmed by August 26 ahead of the September 1–14 showdown in Yaoundé, where promotion to Cameroon’s second tier will be at stake.
While Titanic lifted the trophy, the spotlight also shone on 15-year-old prodigy Allan Ngankam of Galactique FA, who topped the scoring charts with 15 of his team’s 40 goals this season. A Galactique player since the age of eight, the 5’7”, 64kg striker has more than doubled his haul from last season’s seven goals.
“This year, I’ve evolved,” Ngankam said, crediting his growth to hard work and inspiration from Moussa Diaby of Al Ittihad. Galactique manager Miguel Yanou hailed him as “selfless, generous in effort, combative, and above all, a good finisher.” With nearly two years left in the academy, Ngankam already dreams of landing a professional contract.
Capping a strong campaign, Galactique FA also took home the Fair Play Award, proving they can play hard without losing sight of the game’s values.
For the Littoral Region, this year’s national interpools carries more than just a promotion dream ,it’s a shot at redemption. The region has not celebrated a team’s rise to the elite 2 since Dynamo’s breakthrough, and with its clubs now flirting with relegation almost every season, a turnaround is desperately needed to keep Littoral football relevant on the national stage.
