The head coach of the Teranga Lions of Senegal, Aliou Cisse has revealed they are treating Tuesday’s clash against neighbors, Guinea as any other game in the competition despite securing qualification before the game.

Coach Cisse confirmed to the media at the Conference hall of the Charles Konan Banny stadium, this Monday that he will play his best team with the aim of claiming maximum points.

“We are in a very tough competition and have to try to keep the winning steam. We want to finish with a win but we are cautious of the fact that Guinea has a very good team.

“The games against Cameroon and The Gambia are behind us, we are not in the mood to change for the fun of changing,” Aliou opined.

On his health issue Aliou expressed gratitude to those that showed him support last week after he suffered a malaise after the 3-1 win against Cameroon.

“I am fine and want to thank everyone for the support.

“We have to remain focused, starting well is not same as finishing well. Our game against Guinea in the last AFCON came at a time we had do many players out. This time around we have a full house, we Hope to take advantage of that.”

Senegal will hope to keep their winning steam against a resolute Guinea that is also winless and Cisse acknowledges it will be tough.

“Matches don’t resemble, Guinea is a complete and competitive team we will face a lot of difficulties against.” Aliou added.
