Fupkeh Sundze Zunedu scored a quadruple for Options Sports Academy Bamenda to help them emerge champions of the North West Regional Football League for the 2023/2024 season.
The former Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda striker picked also emerged as Man of the Match, Highest Goal scorer and Best Player of the North West Regional League.
Zunedu opened scores for Options Sports Academy as early as the 9th minute of the match after a goalkeeping blunder from Rainbow FC’s goalkeeper.
Ten minutes later, Sundze Zunedu doubled the scores for Options Sports Academy Bamenda.
Efforts from Rainbow FC to impose their play style didn’t yield any fruit. Just before the half time, Rainbow FC’s captain Gilberto Silva Ngwa in an attempt to clear the ball rather put it in the back of his net as Options Sports took a three goals lead at half time.
In the second half of the match, things rather got worst for Rainbow FC as Sundze Zunedu scored two more goals to give his side a 5#0 lead.
Anyen Obi Teke scored a consolation goal for Rainbow FC as the match ended 5#1 in favour of Options Sports Academy Bamenda.
Created in 2019, Options Sports Academy Bamenda will represent the North West region at the 2024 National Interpools in Yaounde.
