Streets in Cameroon brace up for UEFA Champions League final

Barely hours to the finals of the 2022/2023 edition of the UEFA Champions League, supporters of both clubs are bracing up for the finale.

The finals to be played between Manchester City and Inter Milan will take place at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.

In major streets in Cameroon like elsewhere, the fans of both clubs are bracing up.

Some major streets, snack bars and amusement parks have been decorated with thee colors of both teams flying high.

Some fans of the both clubs have also bought and produced personalized supporters jerseys to wear to where they will watch the match.

Many Cameroonians will be throwing their support behind Inter Milan due to the presence of Andre Onana, Cameroon’s international goalkeeper.

In Douala, Yaounde and other parts of Cameroon, billboards carrying the image of Onana has been mounted to show support for the Cameroon who has been ranked second best performer in the competition this year.

Andre Onana will looking forward to be the third African goalkeeper to win the UEFA champions league.

“I just passed around Texaco Obili and the atmosphere is already electric”, an anxious football supporter told kick442.

Despite the fact that a Cameroon is playing for Inter Milan, some football fans and supporters say they will support Manchester City.

“We have been in search of this trophy for long. It’s our time to win it” he said.

Although Manchester City have been tipped favorite to win the competition after they eliminated Real Madrid, Inter Milan will be a team to watch out for.
