This Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt, Samuel Eto’o, the President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), appeared before the CAF Disciplinary Council. The session took place at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the continental football governing body.
Eto’o faced extensive questioning over a series of allegations, most notably his purported complicity in match-fixing. The former captain of the Indomitable Lions has steadfastly proclaimed his innocence in response to the accusations.
