Cameroon’s elite two club, Rangers FC Bafut, has unveiled their new head coach and their complete technical staff ahead of the 2023/2024 football season.
Coach Nguepkep Sylvanos Clerc was presented to the press in Bamenda Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the club headquarters.
Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the acting president of Rangers FC Bafut, Che Eugene Bashia, called on the new technical staff to work together to ensure that the club attains its objectives for the season.
Coach Nguepkep Sylvanos Clerc who is a holder of a Federal License A coaching certificate, started his coaching career in 1998 with Ouranga of Loum.
He later moved to Union and Stade Abong Mbang, between 2000 and 2002.
From there, he had spells with Leopard of Douala, Oryx of Douala, YAFOOT, Tonnerre, Renaissance, Colombe, Lion Blesse, and Panthere of Nde where he worked from 2021 to 2022.
Born in Tombel on February 28, 1977, Nguepkep Sylvanos Clerc is also an educator and has worked with Kadji Sports Academy.
He takes over the coaching role vacated by coach Nguegom Jenny who left the role and joined Union Sportive of Douala.
