Indomitable Lionesses forward Nchout Njoya Ajara will miss Cameroon’s double header Paris 2024 Olympic qualifier clash against eternal rivals, the Super Falcons of Nigeria.

The 31-year-old former Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan striker was one of six strikers selected by coach Jean Baptiste Bisseck selected for the crunch tie, but unfortunately will miss the fourth round contest.

kick442.com has learned from reliable Cameroonian Journalist Joseph Varlery Fotso that the Al Qadsiah of Saudi Arabia forward informed the medical team of the national team of her unavailability and the staff has opted to hand a late call to current Guinness Super League top scorer, Kameni Alice Flore of FC Ebolowa.

The nature of Ajara’s injury is yet to be disclosed, but she is expected to watch the game in Douala on February 23 and 26 in Abuja from the treatment table.

The injury to the one-time Valerenga goal poacher is a big blow to coach Jean Baptiste Bisseck and the rest of the Cameroon team that could have been completely different in attack with the presence of the deputy skipper.

15-goal striker Kameni is expected to bring her current Guinness Super League form to the fold alongside the likes of Lamine Mana, Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene, Ngah Manga Divine Marie Giselle , Brenda Tabe Ebika and Felicia Enganemben Annie.
