Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe have transferred talented forward Albert Tiku Egbe to Union Sportif of Douala on a deal around the region of 2.5 millions FCFA plus 20% of the next sales value, kick442.com can exclusively report.
The Limbe-based outfit completed the transfer on Tuesday, October 9 after cashing in from the Nasara Gamakai who agreed on the terms and fees of the players transfer but delayed in making the payment.
Tiku, former player of EEMSA of Tiko and Destiny Restoration Sports Academy of Limbe enjoyed two glorious years at ISOHSA; winning the Southwest Regional championship and the national interpools in his debut campaign from which he was voted most Valuable Player.
His value skyrocketed during the 2023 national interpools, where he clinched the MVP and top scorer titles with four goals in five games.
He followed up the second season with a return of three goals and seven assists in 21 games in all competitions in Elite Two plus reached the semi-final of the Cup of Cameroon.
At just 2O, Tiku has already made a name for himself in Cameroonian football, becoming one of the most popular local footballer owing to his performances and his club’s excellent public relations.
The player will continue his development under coach Anicet Mbarga Foe at Union Sportif of Douala in what will be his first top-flight experience.
ISOHSA have signed Toh Maurice, Sawai Kelly and Jean Pierre Lemo Junior to fill the attacking void created by the departure of Tiku.
