Budding Cameroonian Referee Ntangti Innocentia Njang has been appointed lead match officials for this Saturday’s Guinness Super League opener pitting Authentic Ladies of Douala against defending champions Lekie Filles of Yaounde.
The game scheduled at the Bepanda Omnisport Annex stadium will be managed by a cream of upcoming match officials led by Ntangti fresh from the FIFA match officials internship in Yaounde. The Northwest prodigy will be accompanied by Djonreba Adeline as first assistant referee while back-to-back women’s assistant referee of the year Chin Valentine completes the on the pitch that has Southwest-based Chebe Akwani as fourth official.
The 3pm kick-off will mark the return will mark the return of women’s top-flight football in the country after a three-months close-season break from when Lekie Filles won the championship in June.
Authentic Ladies with new trainer Hassan Ibrahim, who doubles ac new head coach of the U-20 Lionesses will be hoping to get only their second win in five matches against a Lekie side that beat them home and away last season.

For the first time in history, the Guinness bankrolled championship has set gate takings of 500 FCFA per ticket for fans willing to attend matches.
12 clubs, including newcomers Ita Mbong of the Northwest and Dja Sports of the South Region will compete in the championship expected to run for six months as teams battle for the ten Millions FCFA prize money reserved for the next champion.
