Cameroon international Jean Pierre Nsame scored twice as Young Boys Bern recorded a comfortable 5-0 win against lower tier side Breitenrain on Friday evening at the Stade de Suisse.

Noah Persson, Kastriot Imeri, Chris Itten were the other scorers as coach Raphaël Wicky’s sailed through to the 16 final of this year’s Swiss Cup.

Peerson put the multiple cup winners ahead after 16 minutes of their early dominance of the game.

Though Young Boys were the better side for most parts of the first-half, they failed to score due to the proper organization of Breitenrain defence.

However, early second-half goals from Itten and Imeri made it 3-0 before Nsame converted a 69th minute penalty and completed his brace in the 84th minute.

The game ended on the 5-0 score in favor of the defending champions who will continue their quest to win a ninth Swiss Cup title.

Nsame has been crucial to the resurgence of the club especially in the domestic scene in the past five years.
