Jean Pierre Nsame scored his first goal for Legia Warsaw in the 5-2 mauling of Motor Lublin this Sunday in the Polish Ekstraklasa at the Polish Army Stadium.

The multiple Polish champions were made to sweat as they came from behind to secure the victory thanks to a brace from Batosz Kapustka, Wszolek, Michael Alfrarela and substitute Jean Pierre Nsame.

Goals from Rudol and Jonathan N’Diaye turned out to count for nothing for the visitors who met their host in their best shape on the day.

Sebastian Rudol put the visitors ahead after just nine minutes into the contest but the advantage didn’t last.

Tomáš Pekhart first missed a 15 minute penalty before Kapustka leveled at the half-hour mark.

Veteran Polish midfielder Paweł Wszołek stretch the advantage by converting Legia’s second penalty of the afternoon.

Second half strikes from Migouel Alfrera, Kapustka for his brace and substitute Nsame for his first goal in over a year sealed the three points for Legia even if they conceded a goal from N’Diaye.

Legia’s fourth win in seven outings this season in the domestic championship puts them up in the second spot on the log with 14 points, two points behind Lech Poznan.

Nsame, the Young Boys loanee will take loads of confidence from his latest goal and build on it for his future at the club.
