Ngock Yango returns to Guingamp for a second stint

Indomitable Lionesses’ of Cameroon midfielder Ngock Yango Jeannette Grace has returned to Guingamp after agreeing to end her short spell on the books of Olympique Marseille Ladies.

Guingamp announced the acquisition of Yango and five others on Friday as they unveiled their new signings ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Yango is making her comeback to the place she called home between 2019-21 and made close to 40 appearances before moving to Fleury 91.

The 30-year-old former FF Yzeure and Spartak Subotica midfielder is expected to impact Guingamp’s top-flight campaign in the coming as her return makes her one of the most experienced parts of the squad.

Besides the above-mentioned, Yango has had stints at German sides FC Kattowitz, FFC Turbine Postam amongst others thus giving her a very broad knowledge about the game.

Yango could make her second debut for the club on August 12 when they open their new campaign away to Girondin of Bordeaux Ladies.

The Cameroon international with over 40 caps to her credit joins a number of compatriots plying their trade in the Women’s flagship championship in France.
