Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu played full throttle on Saturday as Dynamo Moscow responded to their midweek Cup defeat with a comprehensive 2-0 win against Akron Togliatti on the occasion of his first outing upon signing a new contract to stay in the Russian capital till the summer of 2026.

The fixture at the Cosmos Arena was decided by goals from Konstantin Tyukavin and Yaroslav Gladyshev in either half to make it 3 wins in three outings for the reigning champions.

Though Ngamaleu didn’t score on the day, he was a constant menace and helped his team’s success after only coming off the bench in the cup defeat.

22-year-old Tyukavin put the visitors ahead after just nine minutes on the clock before Yaroslav completed the job just under the hour mark to ensure they returned to Moscow with all three points.

Coach Marcel Licka’s men have picked all nine points on offer so while Akron Togliatti continue their struggle start of the season.

Dynamo Moscow are joint leaders of the Russian Premier League championship alongside Zenit St Petersburg who are their opponents on match day four of the championship.

Ngamaleu, who counts two goals in three matches so far and have won the one of the match award. He will be crucial for his club when they face high-flying Zenit in a top of the table clash that could already decide the fate of the championship.
