Preparation for the 64th edition of the cup of Cameroon hits top gear. Minister Narcise Mouelle kombi has had a preparatory meeting on Tuesday September 17 in Yaounde ahead of this event that closes the sportive season in Cameroon.
The minister of sport and physical Education chaired this important meeting aimed at installing the committee in charge of organizing the closing ceremony.
Dance groups have been seen training this Wednesday at the Annex 1 of the Omnisport stadium ahead of the grand event.
The game is expected to unfold on Sunday September 22 between Colombe Sportive of dja and lobo and Aigle royale of the menoua.
Both teams have outlined programs ahead of this game, Aigle into their fourth finals, is mobilizing fans from Dschange and it’s environs in the west region. The team programmed a friendly game this Wednesday against Canon sportive .
Come Thursday, Aigle will ensue with training accompanied by a relaxation walk. On Friday , El pacha will leave their Nkizock residence for one closer to central town Yaounde.
Saturday will see the setup of different fanzones in the west, littoral and center regions. Chatters have been made available to carry fans to Yaounde and on Saturday, the different groups will assemble before the Omnisport stadium to get their tickets from club officials ahead of Sunday’s game.
On the side of Colombe sportive all hands are on deck. The South doves , camp at the Mundi complex are fine-tuning strategies to lift the cup of Cameroon in their first time of asking.
An important meeting was organized by club officials on Monday , calling on great mobilization of the elites from the south region.
The mobilization will go through the organization of free transport buses with well-specified starting points:in Sangmelima at the cpdm party house , Esplanade and Ngolbang crossroad.
For better organization, registrations have been opened. All is set for the delegation that will leave the eight su divisions of Dja and Lobo.
Both teams have lost players this transfer window and are signing new players who will champion their cause in front of President Paul Biya’s representative Joseph Dion Ngute.
