Jean Pierre Lemo Junior has been named Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) player of the month of December 2024 following his outstanding performances for the Limbe based outfit in just his early days at the club.
The announcement was made on Friday, January 3 via the club’s social media handles following the completion of the voting exercise masterminded by the club’s Media Officer, Nsonyi Armstrong.
The win for Lemo who has made two starts in two matches so far this season didn’t come as a surprise as former TAD Sport Academy of Yaoundé playmaker created a positive impression at the Limbe based outfit and asserted himself as a regular in the competitive midfield role.
Lemo, 19, beat competition from Arrey Jefta Oduak and Wilson Ngange Jnr to win the first player of the month award decided by the fans in a interesting month during which the club played two matches and picked up four points.
Lemo succeeds Ikose Njuma Conrad who won the last player of the month award organized by the club and is expected to be handed his envelope before kick-off of their home game against Djiko FC this Saturday at the Limbe Centenary Stadium.
The former Renaissance FC of Ngoumou midfielder could be telling for ISOHSA’s ambitions in the coming season having joined them on a two-year deal in September.
Che Randy made the save of the month
In the same line Arrey Jefta Oduak won the goal of the month award while Che Randy Nji’s last-gasp save against Eding Sport de la Lekie was retained as the best for the month.

The next series of announcements is expected at the end of January and it would be determined by the performances of the players for the month during which ISOHSA plays against Djiko FC, Fovu, Union Sportif Abong Mbang and FAP.
