Isle of Hope Academy (ISOHSA) has issued a firm 24-hour ultimatum to Union Sportive of Douala, demanding that the club fulfill its contractual obligations concerning the signing of Albert Tiku Egbe.

In a letter sent to Union Sportive President Polycarpe Kenmogne on October 1, ISOHSA expressed serious concerns over the Douala-based club’s actions.

The letter states that Union Sportive’s decision to announce Tiku Egbe as a new signing, allow him to don their club kit, and permit him to participate in matches while he remains under contract with ISOHSA until 2025 is a clear violation of established transfer regulations.

Both parties had previously reached an agreement on a specific transfer fee and terms regarding future sales revenue for the player. However, more than a month has passed since this agreement was made, and these terms have not been honored by Union Sportive.

ISOHSA’s ultimatum emphasizes that failure to rectify this situation within the allotted 24 hours will compel them to escalate the matter to FIFA, the global governing body for football.

Albert Tiku Egbe was officially announced as a member of Union Sportive on August 27. The club claims to have secured the talented player, recognized as the best performer in the 2023 Interpools tournament, for a duration of two years.

Since his announcement, Tiku Egbe has been actively participating in the Bepanda Info pre-season tournament alongside his new teammates in Douala, further complicating an already contentious situation.
