Day two matches of the 2024 national interpools have produced some interesting results as clubs battle to accumulate maximum points.
In Pool A, North West Regional League champions, Options Sports Academy of Bamenda picked up their first point in the competition.
Hamid Maiwada Abdul gave Options Sports Academy the lead barely five minutes into the match. However, Ahmed Stephen equalized for Botafogo of Douala.
Efforts from both teams to grabbed all three points were futile.
The draw gives Options Sports Academy their first point of the competition while Botafogo of Douala picks up their second point.
In the second Pool A match played at the FECAFOOT Technical Centre in Odza, Centre Regional League champions, Mintack FC outplayed Sporting of Maroua 3#0.
In Pool B played at the CAF Excellence Center Mbankomo, South West champions Buea United were beaten 2#0 by Krimi FC of Garoua.
Meanwhile, Atlantic Sports Academy of Kribi picked up their second consecutive victory with a 1#0 win against Girondins of Ngaoundere.
Day 3 matches comes up Wednesday August 7, 2024.
