30 players of the Intermediate Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will resume camping to prepare for their 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) next week ahead of the doubleheader against Central Africa Republic.
According to our sources, coach Soh Simplice and his charges will return to the CAF Excellence Center on December 1 and stay indoors till the end of the month for the two games.
Coach Soh is expected to make public a list of 30 players which will be a mélange of those he had in the previous camp and new players he has scouted since the close of that get together.
Cameroon targeting their sixth appearance in the CHAN will be hoping to get the better of their CAR opponents in the UNIFFAC derby and secure one of the three places reserved for the region in the 19-nation tournament scheduled next February.
Both legs of the tie are expected to take place in Cameroon and a win for the host will secure their sixth appearance in the CHAN while CAR nurses the big dream of toppling the semi-finalist in the last but one edition.
Cameroon needs an aggregate win against CAR to achieve a fourth consecutive appearance in the competition slated for Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
