Indomitable Lions: Sacha Boey keeps Cameroon waiting

22-year-old French professional right-back of Cameroonian descent Sacha Boey, has decided in keeping Cameroon waiting by expressing how difficult it is to make the appropriate choice being a binational.

This was the outcome of a private dinner held between the Indomitable Lion Head Coach Rigobert Song and Sacha, during his recent European tour in Turkey.

Speaking to the French lead newspaper l’Equipe, Sacha had the following;

“A few days ago, I ate with the coach Rigobert Song, it went well. I am binational. You have to know that it’s hard to make a choice, I have the future ahead of me. Cameroon is also my country but I have never been there. I would have to discover it a little first, to feel a connection. We’ll see.”

“In any case, I will do everything to be good, at my job to be able to apply for what is best, ” Sacha concluded.

Convened in the list of 38 pre-selected Indomitable Lions,to face the Fennecs of Algeria on March 25 and 29,2022 as part of the World Cup play-offs, Cameroonian viewers had their eyes riveted on Sacha, joining the lions.
