Dynamo FC of Douala have sacked Ina Ngassa following Sunday’s 0-1 defeat to city rivals Union Sportif.
The match day ten loss was the final moment of the coach at the helm of the club as it’s management responded 24 hours later with a note terminating their collaboration.
A letter issued to the public this Monday read; “the executive bureau met this day and decided to reorganize the technical staff and end its collaboration with coach Ina Okoh Ngassa with immediate effect. Mr Jean Pierre Muth will take over on interim basis.”
Despite only winning four games so far this campaign, the management of the club issued some words of assurance to its stakeholders.
“The executive bureau wants to reassure the supporters, sympathisers and the entire Dynamo family that the objectives previewed before the beginning of the season are unchanged.”
The worthiness of this move will be measured in the weeks ahead per the results obtained by the new crew.
Jean Pierre Muth is no stranger to Dynamo of Douala as he has had a previous spell at the helm of the club which was satisfactory.
Dynamo will be hoping he keeps that ‘magic touch’ of their running to promotion to Elite Two in 2023 and achieve glory with them, even if it’s just their second season in the MTN Elite One championship.
The Banaba Djob will face Panthere of Nde in their next league outing this weekend.
