Friendly: Cameroon to clash against Senegal

The Cameroon national men’s football team, shall clash against the Teranga Lions of Senegal, in a friendly game, slated for October 16,at the Bollaert-Delells Stadium in Lens, France.

The information, was officially made public,by the Cameroonian football governing officials, via a press release on September 15.

The friendly game,will permit both sides to fine-tune tactics, in the build-up for the upcoming 34th edition of the 2023 TotalEnergies African Nations Cup,scheduled for Ivory Coast in January 2024.

Senegal who are ranked 18th best football nation in the world and first in Africa, have been in fine form lately.The reigning African Nations Cup champions, reached the round 16 , of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where they were eliminated by England, on a three nil score.

The two African football supremo have had 13 confrontations.With both sides winning five games each respectively.

The last time captain Vincent Aboubakar and mates met Senegal, was during the 2017 AFCON, where Cameroon took the day on penalty – shootout,after a goalless draw.
