Samuel Eto’o, the president of the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) has offered to transport all those willing to travel to Maroua for the celebration of the life of deceased administrator Boubakary Bello.
President Bello who spent over 40 years of his life as a committed football investor in the game passed on to eternity on Monday in his native Maroua and is expected to be buried this Tuesday, but Eto’o plans the Cameroon visit even afterwards.
We understand Eto’o has told club presidents that he plans to visit the family on March 8.
“Good morning to all, all presidents who wish to travel to Maroua to see his family, I will put in place a plane on March 8 for a to and fro trip,” a track we stumbled on read.
Being a devoted Moslem, president Bello’s family is expected to celebrate his life for 41 days as religion demands.
It is during this 41 days president Eto’o will lead the Cameroon football family to the home of the deceased CAF youth competitions committee member who spent the best part of his life in the game.
Late last year, Eto’o and his team were pictured at the funeral of coach Jean Baptiste Toguem in the West Region of Cameroon.
