Spanish La Liga side Osasuna have completed the signing of exciting Cameroonian defender, Flavien Enzo Thiédort Boyomo from rivals Real Valladolid CF, kick442.com can report.
The 22-year-old defender put pen to paper on Thursday after all parties involved agreed on the transfer.
‘Club Atlético Osasuna has reached an agreement with Real Valladolid for the transfer of Enzo Boyomo,’ a club statement confirming the transfer read.
The Rojillo entity will pay a 5,000,000€ fee for the complete transfer; an additional 500,000€ will be paid when the defender reaches 60 games with Osasuna in LaLiga EA Sports.
In addition to that, Real Valladolid from Pucela will conserve 10% of the player rights in case of a sale.
Boyomo joins the club for five seasons, and there is a 25,000,000€ buyout clause in the top tier of Spanish football.
Boyomo began his career in his hometown with Toulouse F.C. and joined the Blackburn Rovers at a young age. However, in 2020, he moved to Albacete Balompié, with whom he became a starter in Primera Federación and LaLiga Hypermotion. A year ago, he joined Real Valladolid, where he became one of the best center-backs in Segunda and, despite his youthful age, one of the key players to help the Pucela side achieve the promotion.
Boyomo comes to Osasuna as the club’s present and future. He joins a rejuvenated backline that also includes Jorge Herrando, Abel Bretones, Jesús Areso, Nacho Vidal, Alejandro Catena, Juan Cruz, Unai García, and Rubén Peña.
The Cameroonian will be presented in the days ahead and could make his Osasuna debut in the days ahead.
