Cameroon’s Emmanuel Eseme Alobwede has become the fastest man on the continent following his 10,14 seconds victory on the 100m sprint event at the ongoing All Africa Games (AAGs) this evening in Accra Ghana.
Alobwede had a stunning performance in the men’s event, securing the gold medal in the men’s 100-meter final, despite enduring a sluggish start.
Alobwede, 30, started slowly but recovered to outclass all other contenders to finish first while Nigeria’s Itsekiri Usheoritse finished second and Gilbert Hainuca settled for the third spot.
By completing 100m in 10,14 seconds, Alobwede set a new all-time record as the fastest man in the history of the competition.
