Players have grown used to the ritual: a handshake, a speech, a viral photo — and silence. “We play for the flag, not for promises,” one former international once said after waiting months for a bonus that never came.
Football or Politics?
Every time the Leopards approach a major match, politics slips into the dressing room disguised as motivation. This latest million-dollar vow feels less like genuine support and more like a campaign stunt with a football. The timing is too convenient; the track record too poor.
