2022 World cup participant, Davis Epassy, joins a list of Footballers to have a foundation in Cameroon.
The Ahba shot stopper took to his Instagram this Friday to announce this wonderful news, adding the foundation has signed a partnership agreement linking it to the ministry of Basic education.
“I am pleased to announce the signing of a partnership agreement which now links the Davis Epassy foundation to the Ministry of Basic education, represented by its illustrious Minister, Professor Laurent Serge Etoudi Ngoa, whom I thank Infinitely once again,” Epassy wrote on his Instagram.
He adds, the foundation is keen on providing infrastructures to facilitate the education of under privileged children among other things.
“The stars will now shine in the hearts of under solarized and vulnerable children, whom the foundation will take care of supporting by setting up infrastructures to facilitate their education”
Davis Epassy is Cameroon’s second choice keeper. The France born accepted to play for the Indomitable Lions in June 2021.
He got his big break in the 2022 FIFA World Cup when he replaced Andre Onana between the sticks against Serbia and Brazil, where he earned the man of the match against Neymar’s Brazil.
He joins fellow teammate Andre Onana in this line of philanthropy.
