Dynamo of Douala have completed the signing Jean Daniel Stephane Nyeck II from rivals Cotonsport of Garoua on a two-year contract.
The experienced goalkeeper joins the Bona Ba Djob after two disappointing seasons at Cotonsport during which he rarely featured in games despite being fit all along.
Nyeck, once of AS Fortuna will hope to return to the shape he had in his days on the books of the Yaoundé club, which made him one of the best in the land before joining Cotonsport.
Nyeck will compete with Anye Derick and the other keepers Dynamo will sign in this summer window as they hope to build a squad stronger that that at the disposal of Yves Clement Arroga last season.
Dynamo will compete in the 16-club MTN Elite One championship expected to get underway in October after an over three months break.
Though a historic club in the country, Dynamo is in their second season in the top-flight championship following their return in the build up to last season after an over 20 years absence for the two-time Cup of Cameroon winners.
