The Council of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) has announced dates for its major women’s football competitions in 2023.
It announced that the Women’s Under 20 championships will be scheduled for late March to April.
The Cosafa Women’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers is slated for August 18-26 in Durban, South Africa.
Cosafa Women’s Championship has been scheduled for 14-24 September in Port Elizabeth.
Cosafa Women’s Under 17 has been fixed for December with a date to be announced later on.
Zambia won the COSAFA Women’s Championship last year ahead of South Africa.
Green Buffaloes of Zambia also clinched the Zonal Qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League which qualified the team for the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League in Morocco alongside Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa.
