Carlos Baleba Noom Quomah’s entourage has revealed they will forfeit part of their commission to cause the player to move from Brighton and Hove Albion to Manchester United this summer.
The Baleba to United rumour which first hit the Media via Martin Camus Mimb has been relayed by multiple British sources who are now reporting that, the players entourage have kept conversation on personal terms with United and want to reach an agreement before making an offer for the 21-year-old valued at €120 by Brighton and Hove Albion.
Widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s top young talents, Baleba is now the subject of an ambitious push from the Red Devils, who just signed striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Liepzig.
Reports on Wednesday have it that, United want to sign Baleba from Brighton and have reached out to their Premier League rivals who don’t want to sell Baleba, but could let him go if their asking price is met.
The report adds that Seagulls are open to initial talks, but the former Lille and EFBC midfielder is expected to command a fee of around €100 million (£87m/$116m).
“There is always going to be interest in our players. Manchester United have not been in touch with me. Speculation is speculation. Carlos is a fantastic talent. We hope he will be here for years to come, but it is subject to the dynamics of the football world, which isn’t always predictable,” Brighton CEO Paul Barber reacted to the situation a few days ago.
Baleba is a close friend of United’s Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana, plus international colleague with Bryan Mbeumo and very good friend to Manchester United defender, Leny Yoro – with whom he played at Lille in his breakthrough season.
