- The medical assessment was a review of their medical records over the years
- Buea United announces the availability of white and blue army t-shirts, including gadgets for the club
In preparation for the upcoming National Interpools, Buea United FC has taken proactive measures to ensure the physical well-being of its players.
The players of the team underwent a comprehensive medical assessment on Thursday at the Regional Hospital in Buea under the guidance of Dr. Reickins and his staff.
The medical evaluation process included a review of the players’ medical histories, previous injuries, and any other factors that could potentially impact their performance during the competition.
In addition to the medical checkups, the players also had their physical measurements, such as height, weight, and body composition, recorded. Blood tests were also conducted as part of the thorough assessment.
Given that this is Buea United FC’s first time participating in the National Interpools, the team and its staff, including the coach, Agbor Emmanuel popularly known as Alabas, are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations.
The club’s goal is to ensure the players are in optimal condition to compete for a spot in the elite two championship.
Alongside the medical testing, the club has also announced the availability of white and blue army t-shirts and club gadgets.
The t-shirts are priced at $20 each, and the club is encouraging supporters to purchase them ahead of their fundraising congress scheduled for the 26th of July at 4:00 pm.
The flag bearers of the Southwest Region are hoping to raise a significant fund that will be able to sustain them throughout the competition, ahead of their fundraising event on 26th of July 2024.
If they can raise as much funds as ISOHSA, who raised 13.1 million, and Victoria United, who got 20.1 million, such an amount of money will go a long way in supporting them during the competition.
The team’s proactive approach to medical assessments and their efforts to engage their fan base demonstrate their commitment to success in the upcoming National Interpools.
